LP between Burgundy and the World…
Laurent Peugeot is a French chef born in Burgundy. In love with cooking, he started to learn his passion.
He already rubs shoulders with some of the greatest, including: Mr. Senelet of the restaurant l’Écusson in Beaune (1 star in the Michelin Guide), Mr. Chanliaud of the gastronomic restaurant Le jardin des Remparts in Beaune (1 star in the Michelin Guide), and above all Mr. Lameloise of the restaurant Maison Lameloise in Chagny (3 stars in the Michelin Guide), who quickly becomes a mentor for him. Laurent Peugeot then went to Japan for 4 years to learn about the culture and flavors that he particularly likes. He returned to France in 2001 as Chef at the hotel restaurant La Montagne de Brancion in Martally-lès-Brancion (15/20 Gault et Millau).
He then embarked on his own adventure
He acquired his first establishment: the restaurant Le Charlemagne, which won its first Michelin star in 2006. Since then, this enthusiast has been working in a series of prestigious establishments, receiving awards and promotions. He successively became the owner and founder of the Sushi Kai restaurant in Beaune, which was a great success (2 forks in the Michelin Guide), of the KOKI stores in Beaune and Chalon-sur-Saône, and thus registered his brand: BOKO. He even extended his skills through an exceptional catering service: LP Réception. The rewards were not long in coming: Michelin Guide, Gault & Millau Magazine, etc.
The desire to share its expertise throughout the world
He then received requests from all over the world: China, Singapore, France, Thailand, Mauritius, Japan, India, Switzerland… And even New York for culinary shows. These experiences allowed him to export his knowledge, and it is as a consultant that he opened restaurants abroad: LP Tetsu and ME@OUE in Singapore The Deck in Cairo.
